This competition is dedicated to Old Owens legend Barry Cotton, who was instrumental in helping Old Owens FC move to Potters Bar in 1988. He served as Ian Breeze's right hand as the club won 4 SOL titles in a row between 1988 & 1992. He also served for 16 years as OOFC fixture secretary, winning two ‘Clubman of the year’ accolades.  He continued to attend OOFC games and was present to watch all 3 SAL title wins in 2000, 2005 and 2014. He left four children and will be sorely missed by all at OOFC and his many friends in the wider SAL / AFA circles.
